Radiator Coolant & Antifreeze Water Mix Ratio Calculator (Freeze & Boil Point)
Calculate exact liters/gallons of concentrated antifreeze and distilled water required for 50/50 or 60/40 coolant mixtures, and see exact freeze protection (°C/°F) and boiling protection under radiator cap pressure.
Concentrated Antifreeze Volume Required
Calculator Inputs
Concentrated Antifreeze Volume Required
Distilled Water Volume Required
Freezing Point Protection (°C)
Boiling Protection with Pressure Cap (°C)
Coolant Liquid Components Split: Pure Antifreeze vs Distilled Water (Liters)
Complies with ASTM D3306 ethylene glycol engine cooling standards. Never use tap water in aluminum engine cooling systems.

Calculation Methodology
Concentrated Antifreeze (L) = System Capacity * (Target Ratio % / 100). Distilled Water (L) = System Capacity - Antifreeze. 50/50 mix protects down to -37°C (-34°F) and boils at 129°C (264°F) with a standard 15 PSI pressure cap.
